Grounded in the Element — Earth: I Am Safe to Be Here by Dr. Shweta Malik

Have you ever been sitting somewhere completely safe — your own home, a quiet room, nothing wrong at all — and still felt like you were bracing for something?

That feeling has a name in the ancient understanding of the five elements. It's what happens when Earth — Prithvi, the element of ground, structure, and belonging — runs low. Not fear of something specific. Just a quiet, constant sense of not quite being anchored, like you're a guest in your own life rather than someone standing fully inside it.

It matters more than it sounds like it should, because Earth is the foundation everything else in you is built on. Clear thinking, steady emotion, the ability to love without flinching — none of it holds for long if the ground underneath feels uncertain.

Grounded in the Element — Earth: I Am Safe to Be Here opens a new series with Dr. Shweta Malik. Where grounding work is often approached through movement, this session goes a different route — working with precision, directly through the mind and its subconscious patterns, to rebuild that sense of ground from the inside.

Part of the Five Elements Series. Open to all — no prior attendance needed.

Description

Some people can name exactly what's wrong when they feel unsettled. Others just feel it — a low, constant unease with no clear cause, present even when nothing is actually wrong.

That second kind is harder to work with, precisely because there's nothing obvious to point to. No single event caused it. No specific fear explains it. It's simply there — a background sense of not quite being anchored, of standing on ground that doesn't feel entirely solid, even when circumstances are objectively fine.

In the ancient understanding of the five elements, this describes an imbalance in Earth — Prithvi, the most foundational of them all. Earth governs structure, stability, and the basic sense of being safely, physically present in your own life. It is the ground everything else is built on: clarity of mind, steadiness of emotion, the capacity to connect with others without bracing for impact. When Earth runs low, none of those things disappear entirely — they simply become harder to sustain, built on a foundation that keeps shifting underneath them.

This session begins here, because this is where every other kind of work eventually has to begin.

A Different Way to Ground

Most grounding work happens through the body — movement, breath, physical contact with the earth itself. That approach works well for many people. But grounding can also be addressed at a different level entirely: through the mind, and the subconscious patterns that quietly decide, moment to moment, whether a person feels safe or unsafe in their own life.

This is where Dr. Shweta Malik's work is distinct. Rather than approaching Earth through movement, this session works with precision — identifying the specific mental patterns, inherited beliefs, or early experiences that taught a person, long ago, that safety wasn't guaranteed. Once located clearly, these patterns become something that can actually be addressed, rather than simply managed around.

What This Session Explores

  • What the Earth element represents in the body and mind, and how its imbalance shows up as chronic, low-grade unease
  • The specific mental and subconscious origins of feeling ungrounded — often traceable to early experiences of instability or unpredictability
  • Why grounding work through the mind can reach patterns that physical practices alone sometimes cannot
  • Precise techniques to rebuild a genuine, lasting sense of safety and stability from the inside
  • How a stronger foundation in Earth supports everything built on top of it — emotional regulation, clear thinking, and authentic connection with others

Meet Your Guide — Dr. Shweta Malik

Dr. Shweta Malik brings the clinical precision of a certified hypnotherapist and homeopathic doctor to work that is too often approached only through the body. Her method goes directly to where a pattern actually lives — in this case, the subconscious beliefs that quietly determine whether a person feels safe in their own life.

Under her guidance, grounding stops being something you have to keep returning to through effort. It becomes something the mind simply, finally, remembers how to hold on its own.
