Navras Series | Episode 8, Part 2 — Raudra: Release the Stored Anger Within by Vasundhara Shukla

Part 1 of this series was about meeting your anger — understanding where it comes from, how the body holds it, why it never got to finish. Part 2 is about something different: actually letting it go.

Guided meditation works with stored anger differently than movement does. Instead of releasing tension physically, it works through focused visualization — locating exactly where anger sits in the body, then guiding it, consciously and safely, out. Not suppressed, not acted out, not even talked through. Simply released, with full awareness, in a space built specifically to hold it.

Navras Series | Episode 8, Part 2 — Raudra: Release the Stored Anger Within continues the work with Vasundhara Shukla, moving from understanding anger into the deliberate practice of letting it finally leave the body.

Description

Understanding where anger comes from is one kind of work. Actually letting it leave the body is a different one entirely.

Part 1 of this exploration worked with anger through the body directly — movement, breath, embodied awareness, meeting the charge that's been stored for years and finally giving it somewhere physical to go. That work matters. But understanding a pattern and genuinely releasing it aren't always the same thing. Sometimes insight arrives clearly, and the anger stays exactly where it was, simply better understood now rather than actually gone.

This session approaches release from a different direction: not through movement, but through focused, guided meditation — using visualization to locate precisely where anger lives in the body, and consciously, deliberately, letting it leave.

This is not suppression dressed up as calm. It's the opposite — going toward the anger fully, rather than away from it, and letting the release happen on its own terms.

How Guided Visualization Actually Works Here

Meditation for anger release isn't about thinking your way to peace. It works through a specific, structured process: first locating where anger physically sits — often the jaw, the chest, the stomach, the hands — then using focused imagery to give that stored tension a way to actually move and exit.

This might look like visualizing the anger as a colour, a weight, or a force, and consciously guiding it out of the body rather than holding it in place through analysis or suppression. The goal isn't to understand anger intellectually one more time. It's to let the body complete something it's been holding onto, sometimes for years, without ever fully being allowed to finish.

What This Session Offers

  • A guided meditation specifically structured around locating and releasing stored anger through visualization
  • A safe, contained space to go toward anger fully, rather than suppressing or minimising it
  • Techniques you can return to on your own, outside the session, whenever anger needs somewhere real to go
  • A natural continuation of Part 1's work — though full understanding is not required to benefit from this release
  • The felt experience of genuinely letting go, rather than simply understanding why you haven't yet

Is This for You?

✔ You attended Part 1 and are ready to move from understanding your anger to actually releasing it.
✔ You're new to this series and drawn specifically to guided meditation over movement-based work.
✔ You know intellectually why you hold onto anger, but that understanding hasn't translated into release.
✔ You want a structured, guided way to let go of stored anger safely, without acting it out or suppressing it further.
✔ You're ready to complete something your body has been holding onto for a long time.

New to this series? Part 1 attendance is welcome but not required — this session stands on its own.

Meet Your Guide — Vasundhara Shukla

Vasundhara Shukla brings a rare combination to this work — the precision of a certified hypnotherapist and the embodied intelligence of a trained dancer, someone who understands that insight and release are genuinely different processes, each requiring its own kind of guidance.

In this session, her facilitation shifts from the physical work of Part 1 into something quieter and more internal — using visualization and guided meditation to help what's been stored finally, consciously, complete its exit.
